Welcome to Schroeder Guide Service!

I'm Al Schroeder and I have been fishing the lakes of Vilas, Oneida and Forest counties in Northern Wisconsin for the past fifty years. I guide for walleyes, bass, northern pike, pan fish and muskies. In the interest of preserving our muskie fishery I practice catch and release muskie fishing only. We will take all of the photos and measurements necessary for a replica mount of your muskie and the fish will be released. I have been guiding full-time for the past ten years and will do my best to make your day on the water with me safe, productive and enjoyable.

I will guide you in my 18 foot Ranger Comanche powered by a 150 horsepower Evinrude motor. I use a Lowrance locator and GPS and a Pinpoint trolling motor.

WHAT TO BRING
I furnish all of the necessary fishing equipment and tackle, however, you are welcome to bring your favorite rod and reel if you so choose. You should bring clothing appropriate for the weather, sun screen, sun glasses (polarized lenses work best), a camera and a valid Wisconsin fishing license.
